Bar attendants prepare, mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons in licensed establishments.

Day-to-day

  • Prepare, serve, and sell cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, canned and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and a variety of coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso-based beverages
  • Clean and maintain bar service area, coffee-making area and espresso machine
  • Collect payment for sales and operate cash registers
  • Promote services and products
  • Wash glassware and arrange bottles and glasses
  • Tap kegs and attach supply lines
  • Replenish drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators
  • Sell light snacks
  • Select and grind coffee
