Bar attendants prepare, mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons in licensed establishments.
Day-to-day
- Prepare, serve, and sell cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, canned and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and a variety of coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso-based beverages
- Clean and maintain bar service area, coffee-making area and espresso machine
- Collect payment for sales and operate cash registers
- Promote services and products
- Wash glassware and arrange bottles and glasses
- Tap kegs and attach supply lines
- Replenish drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators
- Sell light snacks
- Select and grind coffee
